She joined the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in 1992. She developed her career by working in the Bureau of Social Welfare and Public Health, the Bureau of General Affairs, the Bureau of Education, the Bureau of Olympic and Paralympic Games Preparation, and the Bureau of Policy Planning.
