Satoshi Ikeda joined the Financial Services Agency in 2008. Since then, he subsequently assumed several director roles in Prudential Standards Office, International Affairs Office, Exchanges and FMIs Supervision, Insurance Business Supervision, and Planning and Management for Supervisory Bureau. Right before assuming the current role as Director for Strategy Development in June 2024, he was Deputy Commissioner for International Affairs. In addition to these roles, he continues to serve as Chief Sustainable Finance Officer since March 2019.
