Mr. Hayashi joined Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) in 1994 upon graduating from the Law Faculty of Osaka University. He worked in the Bond Market Department and Listing Department, and served as a secondee to Japan Securities Depository Center, Inc. From 2009, he was involved in the reform and implementation of listing and disclosure rules, and from April 2017, he served as Director of the Listing Department. He was appointed Standing Governor, Japan Exchange Regulation, in April 2022, and has held his current office from April 2024.
