ShinYabe

After graduating from Hitotsubashi University in 1977, joined Nippon Credit Bank. In addition to corporate sales, he was involved in the securities business, including bond investment, for a long time, and was in charge of pension asset management at Nippon Credit Asset Management. In 1999, he moved to Tokio Marine Asset Management, where he engaged in client services for public pension funds such as GPIF and mutual aid associations, as well as corporate pension funds and financial institutions.

For five years from 2014 to 2019, he worked as a corporate pension asset management expert officer at the Corporate Pension and Individual Pension Division, Pension Bureau, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, and was involved in work related to asset management governance of DB and DC. Since 2019, he has been a pension consultant as a director of IIC Partners, Co., Ltd., and as a specially appointed researcher at Research Institute for Policies on Pension & Aging, a public interest incorporated foundation, conducting research on issues such as corporate pension systems and individuals' retirement asset formation.
