After He graduated from the School of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University, Joined MARUI CORPORATION (currently MARUI GROUP CORPORATION) in 1987.

After working in sales, credit contract operations, and accounting and finance and corporate planning departments at MARUI Sales Offices, he was appointed General Manager of the Corporate Planning Department in 2013.

With the establishment of the IR Department in 2015, he also served as General Manager of the IR Department. He has been the officer in charge of the ESG Promotion Department since the establishment of the ESG Promotion Department in 2017 and the Sustainability Department in 2019.

Since 2015, he has been involved in investment in start-up companies as General Manager of the Corporate Planning Department, and is also President of D2C & Co., Ltd. (100% owned by MARUI GROUP), a new company established in 2020 that supports the D2C ecosystem through investment and collaboration with D2C startup companies.
