Mari has been working for an IT company and a US investment bank, etc. She holds an M.S. from University of Michigan, School for Environment and Sustainability.
She has lengthy career on climate change policy especially climate finance and mitigation projects and pursuing modalities of enhancing financial incentives to reduce greenhouse gases emissions. With these experiences in climate change finance, her expertise is now advisory on the field of ESG investment, SDGs business and sustainable finance. She also holds the posts concurrently in MUFG Bank and Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities.
Mari is member of Ministry of the Environment’s Global Environment Committee of Central Environment Council, Financial Services Agency’s Expert Panel on Sustainable Finance, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries’ Council of Food, Agriculture and Rural Area Policies, etc.
