Ms. Hisae Sato has 40 years of experience in asset management-related operations. She started her career from Hokkaido Takushoku Bank in 1985. She worked at various asset management related companies (both consulting and investment advisory ). From 2005 to 2020, she served as the Global Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., overseeing the company's pension operations in Japan and overseas. In 2023, she served as a member of a subcommittee of the Council of New Form of Capitalism Realization, Cabinet Secretariat. Currently, she serves as an Fund Management Committee Member of Local Public Service Mutual Aid Associations , a member of the JST(Japan Science and Technology Agency) Investment Advisory Committee , and a member of the Pension Actuarial Subcommittee and of the Fund Management Subcommittee of the Social Security Council, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
She is also a member of the evaluation committee of the Japan foundation for Aging and Health. Ms. Sato holds a BA in Liberal of Arts from International Christian University and is currently serving as a council member of the university.
