Born on October 27, 1978 in Kyoto Prefecture. Graduated from The University of Tokyo with a Bachelor of Laws.

Joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2002. After working on economic growth strategies, global warming countermeasures, industrial human resources policy, nuclear energy policy, and small and medium-sized enterprise policy, and seconded to the private sector. Since 2022, being Director of Healthcare Industries Division, Commerce and Service Industry Policy Group.
