After retiring from a foreign electronics manufacturer, Ms. Fukata became a financial planner in 1996. She established an independent financial planning company, Seikatsu Sekkei Juku Clue, which does not sell any specific financial or insurance products, and provides consulting services to individuals, as well as disseminating money information through the media and lectures.

Her private consultation clients range from 20s to 80s, and in recent years, she has been consulting with many people in their 50s and 60s on their post-retirement life planning.

She runs a Facebook group called "Retirement and Pre-Retirement Women's School," where she exchanges information on working styles, money, and risking with working women of the first generation under the Equal Employment Opportunity Law. Currently, almost 3,000 members participate in the group.
