Yokono Megumu joined the Waseda faculty in 2006. She teaches medical law, law and bioethics and related courses.
After graduating from Waseda University School of Law, she proceeded to Waseda Graduate School of Law. She was appointed as a research associate in 2001. Then she started to teach at School of Social Sciences, Waseda University in 2006 as a lecturer.
Her research focuses primarily on ethical and legal issues related to emerging biomedical technologies.
