He has held his current position since July 2023. He joined Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation (now NTT) before it was privatized in 1985, working in R&D and network planning, and became Vice President of NTT America in 1997. From 2006 to 2011, he led acquisitions of overseas cybersecurity companies, DataCenter firm, IT Management firm at NTT Communications, strengthening its overall capabilities and managed security services. He was appointed President of NTT Security Japan in 2016 and CTO of NTT Security in 2018, leading global R&D and advances in threat intelligence and AI-based detection technologies. He later served as President of NTT Security Holdings.
