Major General Teerawut Wittayakorn is the Deputy Secretary-General of the National Cyber Security Agency, serving since October 2022, and he is also the Director of the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capability Building Center (AJCCBC) and the Head of the Thailand Computer Emergency Response Team (ThaiCERT). Prior to take the office, he was in the military services for 25 years. The previous important positions included Director of Special Operation at Royal Thai Armed Forces, Signal Battalion Commander, Instructor at Royal Thai Army Command and General Staff College.
In addition to his full-time assignments, he was also appointed to some key responsibilities such as the Advisor to Chairman of Committee of the CAT Telecom, Military Court Judge, and subcommittee at the National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Committee.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering(Major in Digital Control) from Stanford University. In relation to cybersecurity, he has certifications of CompTIA Security+, ECSA, CISM, CompTIA Cloud+, ECC-ECSA, CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA PenTest+, and has passed the CISM exam. Additionally, he has participated in the UN-Singapore Cyber Fellowship 2023.
