Sumit Chanda

Sumit Chanda is the Co-Chair of the Charter of Trust, where he drives global initiatives to strengthen trust in the digital ecosystem by addressing critical cybersecurity challenges.

He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Atos Group Security and previously held the role of Global Chief Information Security Officer at Eviden. Over his 20-year career at Atos, Sumit has led major security transformation programs and ensured the secure delivery of landmark events, including the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics and the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, with zero security incidents.

He graduated from the University of Oxford and holds a PhD. He was elected as a Fellow of the British Computer Society.
