Ayaji Furukawa joined Toshiba Corporation in 2019, where he has been engaged in strengthening cybersecurity governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing human resources, and supporting product security initiatives. Prior to this, She worked at Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), promoting international cooperation on industrial cybersecurity with Europe and the United States. She contributed to the establishment of global frameworks through public-private partnerships. Currently, She serves as an expert committee member at the IPA Industrial Cybersecurity Center and as a member of the Industrial Security Action Group under the Robot Revolution & Industrial IoT Initiative (RRI), leading discussions on trust in supply chains within the Japanese and German manufacturing sectors. Her recent publication is titled “Lessons Learned from the UK: Effective Public-Private Partnership for Critical Infrastructure Protection in Cybersecurity.”
