I joined Nikkei Business Publications in 1997. Primarily involved in writing and editing articles related to security and internet technologies. After serving as Deputy Editor of Nikkei Computer and Editor-in-Chief of Nikkei NETWORK, became an Editorial Committee Member of Nikkei xTECH. I am currently writing the series "Katsumura Yukihiro's 'Someone is Targeted Today'" for Nikkei xTECH. Authored books include "The Mechanism of Computer Virus Threats," "The Cybersecurity Trap Right in Front of You," and "Zero Trust: The Ultimate Security Chosen by Google" (all published by Business Publications). It has served on multiple committees such as the government's "Guidance Review Committee for Sharing and Disclosing Information on Cyber Attack Damages." Holds certifications as an Information Security Administrator, a Registered Information Security Specialist, and a Ph.D. in Engineering.
