Noboru Nakatani

・Mr. Nakatani is Vice President, Safer Internet Association, Japan (June 2019 - ) as well as Chief Trust & Safety Officer of LY Corporation.

・Mr. Nakatani served as the Executive Director of INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (2012-2018) to enable law enforcement to better combat cybercrime after the Director of Information Systems and Technology (2008-2011) and the Assistant Director of INTERPOL’s Financial and High Tech Crime (2007-2008) at INTERPOL’s General Secretariat in Lyon, France.

・He joined the NPA in 1993 and has held various posts such as the Senior Assistant Director for Cyber Crime Division and the Director of Transnational Organized Crime Office.

・He joined Yahoo Japan as Executive Vice President (2019-2022) after serving 26 years in the National Police Agency (NPA) of Japan.

・Mr. Nakatani published “Introduction to Digital Security” (Kodansha) in 2022. He holds a LL.B. from KEIO university.
