Akira SAKA is the CISO of Digital Agency Japan and was the CISO of The Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2021. He is also the managing director of the Council of Public Policy Japan, CPP, and a director of Japan Cybercrime Control Center, JC3. He served a career in the National Police Agency and other government agencies for 23 years, including serving as the Director of Cybercrime division, the Director of Security System Planning Office, and the Director of Latin America Office of MITI(now METI). He received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tokyo and a Master of Arts from Graduate School of Policy Science and was an associate of Weatherhead Center for International Affairs in Harvard in 2002.
