Mirza Sadaqat Huda is Senior Research Fellow at the Climate and Sustainability Programme at ODI Global and an Associate Fellow at the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute. He is based in Singapore and works on the ASEAN Power Grid, critical minerals, and just transition in Southeast Asia. Previously, Mirza was Lead Researcher at the Climate Change in Southeast Asia Programme of the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute where he focused on cross-border energy interconnections and energy transition. He has a PhD on International Energy Cooperation from the University of Queensland. Mirza’s latest publication is ‘Clubbing in the Anthropocene? The geopolitics of climate clubs and critical minerals’ (Global Sustainability, February 2026).
