Takashi Imamura is a business economist and political analyst specialising in US economy and politics, and international relations. He began his career at Marubeni Corporation. He served as Senior Vice President of Marubeni America Corporation and General Manager of the Washington Office from 2008 to 2017. Mr Imamura returned to Japan and became an executive officer of Marubeni Corporation in April 2019. He was appointed President & CEO of the Marubeni Institute.
