Currently serving as the President and Representative Director of Thomson Reuters Japan leading and managing the entire global trade, global tax, and legal compliance and workflow solution businesses in Japan with offices in Tokyo and Nagoya. Led Thomson Reuters’ acquisition of Japan’s market leading legal IT company in 2023. Formerly Head of Thomson Reuters Korea office, and President & Representative Director of the leading online legal information provider in Korea. Before joining Thomson Reuters and starting his career in management, worked as a legal professional at international law firms in New York and also at a court in Delaware. Received his Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.) from Korea and the Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from the US.
